Short Project Description
The project consists of the following activities:
The primary objective of this project is to rehabilitate the Fruit Pier by reconstructing the existing deck structure. The project aims to restore the structural performance and operational functionality of the pier while ensuring that the facility meets current safety and operational standards.
Through the implementation of the proposed works, the project seeks to:
- Extend the service life of the pier infrastructure.
- Improve the structural reliability and safety of the facility.
- Ensure the continued efficient operation of small-vessel activities within the harbor.
- Reduce the risk of operational disruptions caused by infrastructure deterioration.
Execution period: 30 workable days.
Tentative project time frame: June 24 up to Augustus 07, 2026.
Working hours: Monday through Friday from 07:00 to 07:00 hrs.
Project management: Aruba Ports Authority N.V.
The validity proposal period is 60 days.
The tender documents will be available from March 30, 2026, up to April 02, 2026, at the main office of the Aruba Ports Authority N.V. or via E-mail against a payment of AWG. 250,00
Office hours are from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 12 pm and 1 pm to 4.30 pm.
The tender documents can also be requested digitally via email tender@arubaports.com by sending a proof transfer with your email request between March 30, 2026, up to April 02, 2026. Cut-off time will be 4.30pm.

Regarding this project, and information meeting will be held on April 08, 2026, at 10:30 hrs. local time at the main office of Aruba Ports Authority N.V. (APA)
The memorandum of the information meeting will be available on April 22, 2026, to all who have purchased the tender documents.
Your proposal should be submitted in a sealed envelope on April 29, 2026, between 8:00 am – 11:45 am and 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm. local time in the box located at APA’s head office building located at L.G. Smith Boulevard 23.
The tenderer must submit the following requirements with his tender:
- The proposal (a filled registration/ specification of tender sum annexed to the tender document)
- A valid copy of the company’s Chamber of Commerce registration.
- Copy of ID of Managing director of the company.
- A list of subcontractors to be engaged. If none, it should be stated in a letter.
- Letter of good fiscal conduct issued by the “Departamento di Impuesto (DIMP)”
- Letter of good conduct of the managing director from the public prosecutor’s office. (Openbaar Ministerie)
- Statement of the Court of first instance of Aruba (Gerecht in eerste aanleg van Aruba) that the tenderer is not in bankruptcy (faillisement) or in suspension of payments (Surseance van betaling)
- All documents required in the Terms of reference tender conditions mentioned in EXHIBIT A on pages 38, 39 and 40.
